40 an hour 19 hours ago 19 hours ago 19 hours ago JOB OVERVIEW GENERAL PURPOSE Working under the general direction of the Community Corrections Director, performs a variety of clerical, secretarial, and administrative work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Greet and check in clients, answer telephone calls, and schedule and coordinate appointments.
Receive visitors, answer questions; respond to inquiries from the public, judges, and County employees; and refer to appropriate individuals as needed.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, County employees, attorneys, judges, government agencies, community agencies, and the public.
Perform administrative duties associated with random drug testing including, but not limited to, checking in clients, completing required documents, scheduling, and distributing test results.
Extract alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from paper documents, and accurately enter data into computer.
Prepare invoices for Community Corrections fees, and mail to past and present clients.
Collect program service fees from clients, prepare and complete deposit, and maintain accurate records.
Receive, stamp, and distribute incoming mail as well as process outgoing mail.
Update and maintain confidential filing/retrieval systems for correspondence, records, and reports (i.
e.
, departmental database, NCJIS, etc.
).
Gather, record, and maintain statistical data related to the number of client cases and their dispositions for informational, grant and audit purposes.
Schedule and manage the departmental calendars.
Compose, type, and edit a variety of correspondence, reports, and other material requiring judgment as to content, accuracy, and completeness.
Organize, monitor, and procure departmental supplies and materials within budget guidelines.
Process accounts payable invoices within guidelines and through the accounting system, and track data for budget tracking purposes.
Attend meetings and serve as note taker, as directed.
Gathers, organizes, and maintains all necessary documentation and files for periodic audits.
Report to work with regular, predictable, and consistent attendance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience High school graduate or GED equivalent .
Two (2) years clerical and/or secretarial experience.
Competent experience using MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level and Access at a beginning level.
Must be able to type 40 net words per minute (nwpm).
Must be able to enter data at 100 net keystrokes per minute (nkpm).
Approved combination of training and education may be substituted for the required experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
